Jim opened Miter Biter in 1973. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passionate career of making frames and selling beautiful art! He is well known in the community as being a dedicated and kind contributor to many Melrose causes. Jim has an amazing sense of humor and it comes across in all his endeavors, whether making frames or chatting with customers.
Dan Started working with his father back in the 90's His comedic wit keeps everyone here on our toes and his charm with the customers knows no bounds! He will always greet you with a big smile and can converse on any topic. (especially his favorite recipes!) Dan really enjoys customer relations and will jump at the chance to serve all customer needs in a funny and laid back way.
Faith began working with her father and brother back in the 90's. Her dedication to the business is incredible as well as her ability to make sure things run like clockwork! She is your go to lady for sports trivia! Faith will be glad to help you figure out exactly what you need and will do so in a direct and intelligent way! She has over 20 years of experience in the industry and it shows!
Miter Biter's resident artist, Amanda has been with the company for over a decade. (but has been framing for longer.) She is responsible for running the printing studio, project design and handling some of the more extreme projects we take in. She is an ambitious employee who always jumps at the chance to take on new responsibility and is especially thorough with customers and their needs.
We understand that custom framing can seem overwhelming. There are so many options to choose from and everyone's tastes and budget are different. Don't be afraid!
